Prometheum

Prometheum provides a solution for digital asset securities investing — bringing together a blockchain-powered platform with the benefits of a securities-regulated marketplace.

Project Background

In the early stages of Prometheum's growth, I joined the company. During the start-up phase of the company, I was responsible for a wide range of projects, including the front end of the trading application, the trading dashboard, internal mobile security applications, and the company's website. I had to find solutions to a variety of issues such as account creation user flows, navigation and tracking of front end tasks, complexities with securities and regulatory guidelines, data visualization, and creating and developing internal compliance applications.

We worked in a remote environment, coming together from all over the globe. I worked alone and with a team to develop and implement the necessary solutions. I was involved in all aspects that UX|UI and design touched. I was able to utilize my previous experience to come up with innovative solutions to the various challenges.

The Problem

There is no regulation or investor protection for digital assets trading.

Prometheum is the first company to bring regulation to the the digital asset security trading front. Before Prometheum, there was no investor protection in the digital asset economy. This creates a huge gap to bridge for institutional investors entering the digital asset security space, as well as the individual investor.

With that being said, we had a ton of EXCITING problems and things to solution for. We were starting from the ground up, and building a platform that didn't exist up until us.

The Solution

Prometheum gives traders access to Reg. D crypto currency, with companion internal security and compliance applications.

I worked on various projects with Prometheum. One of tasks was creating a data visualization dashboard to track different digital asset securities. This dashboard was part of the larger product, our platform. I designed many different user flows and screens in the Platform, as well as the over arching design system components.

I was solely in charge of the design and development of our internal compliance mobile app. This app demonstrated control over our Ethereum blockchain network, and maintained compliance with SEC and FINRA.

The design for the Platform went through the entire design process. It was great being on such a small team at this stage, I was able to get feedback throughout the design stages.

Being that this Platform is regulated by the SEC and FINRA there was a lot of thought put into the account creation and approval processes.

Once an institutional investor has gone through the account creation and approval process, they then have access to Prometheum's dashboard. Here users have access to live trading data and are able to buy/sell crypto currencies.
